Don't think I judge. I find it revolting normally. If you enjoy it and you have the consent of others, I see no harm in it.

So you all have a unique one? It made me curious; there is a Hive back home who all wear masks - well, visors. [they use their hand to indicate the shape of a visor on their face, in case Emet-Selch's not familiar with it.] The Utopians, actually.

You'd like them. They're A Hive of vokers. Most innovations come out of their Hive, but their big thing is terraforming Mars - that's a planet in Earth's solar system - so humans can live on it.

[Despite this endorsement, a shadow falls over their expression as they speak about the Utopians.]

No-one's really sure what the visor is for; there are all sorts of rumors about how it showed them another world, or a better version, stuff like that.

... How does one go about making a planet liveable? Would you not have to suffuse it with aether?

[He pets their head.]

I couldn't explain the process, but it's done with science and technology, and it takes a long time. They've been at it for awhile and it will still take another 200 years. What does suffusing a planet with aether do exactly...?

I assume terraforming a star means it is not ready to accept life, so one must imbue it with such. Aether is a star's energy and what makes up a soul of each individual. I imagine it would be hard pressed to live on any star without it.

Huh... either we don't have that or haven't discovered it yet. Terra forming is a chemical process. It changes the atmosphere into breathable air.

But otherwise life can flourish?

I am curious because one of the shards is a void, bereft of true life. If you have a process that would bring life back, I would be most interested to hear it.

I won't personally be very useful. I'm not an astrophysicist. [They scowl lightly not liking to give Cato credit for anything.] Cato could write you a how-to manual. Besides the terraforming, the Utopians have had a base on the moon for a while, and that's bare rock in the void.

How curious. I never thought to research such a topic here, but now it seems it is worth some investigation. Any details you might have would be useful, if you don't mind parting with them.

They're aware to be careful of me. I'm not going to waste such a good opportunity for target practice, especially when they're handing out these effects like candy.

These are from Hell. Hell proper. With enough power and energy they can take chunks of your essence your being that allows you to be here. You will need something to fill the caps of that which was taken. I do believe this is how auditions received some of their corruptions but you'll have to forgive me. My memory of that place is hazy at best.

Ugh... Thanks. That just makes me want to get rid of them even more. I've managed to get this far without any corruptions and I intend to finish like that.

I had wondered if my words would simply entice you more, but I would rather you had the benefit of knowledge.

They seem less impactful here, but I do wonder if they are simply waiting to gather in larger numbers.
