I wouldn't go far to say that, but I simply wish to retire when all this is done. Pick up new hobbies as it were.

[Sighs!] My wisdom, huh. I think I annoy Valour just by existing; I haven't really been trying. But I do think he's kind of stuck-up. It wouldn't kill him to relax a little.

He dislikes others talking down to him and he values his own advice over others. To his credit, he is quite intelligent. And yes, he could, but that will come with time.

The two of you can nurture whatever relationship you like. I am just curious.

I'm not the one that needs to be convinced. You care for him, and he's certainly been through some extraordinary circumstances. So I'm sure there's plenty that I could respect in him.

Since you're asking, yes. He thinks a lot of his own advice when he's just as susceptible to emotional decision making as everyone else. It's not like that's always a bad thing, but too many people here confuse pessimism with rationalism.
