Five loves you very much. And it would be unfair to compare what we have to what you have. The love is different. Just as I cannot compare the love I have for him and the love I have for Cosmo.

So while it is hard for him to express it, do not doubt that it is there.

That's just how he is, I get it. I just don't know how to make things better for him, ever. And I don't think he even wants that? Like... He probably likes it more when I pretend I don't notice anything is wrong.

That's because he feels guilty being weak in front of you. He's put in his mind that his role is protector and guardian. The eldest.

'Tis not an excuse, but it might help you understand better. I have the same problem with Cosmo. He is by far my elder and will turn every burden back on himself if given the chance. Even to his own detriment. And even though I love him with all my heart, it does bring up barriers between us. Sometimes it is easier to talk to Five than him even though I have know Cosmo for eons.

I get it. I don't have to like it. And he just thinks that way because he had a stunted childhood with that crazy bastard we called Dad, and then because he was stuck by himself in the apocalypse.

I was simply concerned when you said he loved me over you. We have spoken and you will always take priority. Just as my people will as well.
