Well. It's not just because the outing was nice. As bad as things have been in general, it's been nice meeting my family again and having the chance to catch up.

Kaguya is back too, though she's on a different Unit. That does make things easier.

I was going to ask how it felt to have all your siblings back, but now I have my answer.

Kaguya even? How wonderful. I will tell her hello.

And don’t think I’m complaining. ‘Tis a good look on you. I’m quite glad you actually feel up to getting more memories.

Admittedly I was terrified at first. But just being together got rid of most of my worries.

And since you seem willing to indulge me today as well. Carry me to my room. Before I take a memory let's enjoy the onsen together.

[He just laughs as he picks him up and twirls them both for good measure before heading to his room.]

Truthfully of all the upgrades the luxurious baths are what I’m finding myself drawn to.

I'm not surprised to hear that. But considering there is always a starry sky out there, I do hope you'll be partial toward this one.

[He does put him down when he gets to his room, but he does kneel so he can hold him close for a moment.]

There's changes of clothes for you in the wardrobe, if you're worried.

I am not. We both might state it as an empty threat to have the other return to their dorm wet or bare, but we do plan for every eventuality.

[He squeezes his fingers and follows him. He does really enjoy the new space. Not only is Vergil near, but the small touches of what Five wants does warm his heart.]

Was there more than the feeling of readiness that spurred on taking another memory?

[ He'll take care to lead him outside, where the stars are perpetually shining up above the private onsen, and then take care of undressing so he can go into the water ]

Allison couldn't go into details but I get the feeling there's more apocalypse to wait for us after what I remember.

You will endure though it will not be easy. Not the most comforting words to hear, but do not doubt in your ability.

Well it's lucky then that the best way for me to relax is to take care of you and spoil you a little. To be honest I did want to be the one to give you a massage today.

[ he brings his hands to his shoulder to start massaging him, but leans in to kiss between his shoulder and neck first ]

Have I praised you for how attentive you are? I should if I have been lack at it.

Have I been more attentive than usual? If anything I feel I'm not paying enough attention to you.

Perhaps not more, but certainly not less. I wonder if it feels that way since I am aligning my sleep schedule more with Lahabrea.

But I assure you, you are always attentive and if I truly needed you, I know how to get your attention.

[ he'll place another kiss to his cheek this time, keeping with the massage, trying to work any potential knots out ]

But well, if it were up to me I'd want to find a thousand more ways to show you how much I love you. Not that I doubt you feel loved, but still.

[At this point getting a new back would probably be better. Though he keeps making appreciative noises.]

We are both so similar. I would give you the same reassurances. The same thousand gestures.

But you do more than you know. And I love you deeply for it. Enough that Lahabrea does tease me for how smitten I’ve become.
