But I think the toll on you was higher than if I had died. Death has little meaning to me. I'm nigh immortal and have shed my mortal vessel countless times.

Maybe, we could have, but maybe that wouldn't have worked, either. Especially since where we were was a dead end. Noooooooooooot exactly ideal.

I don't think it's that comparable because if it means killing someone or watching you die, both those options really, really suck! I get that death is Not A Big Deal to you, I can understand that concept objectively, but it's hard to reconcile that knowledge with what had already happened. I'd already seen you die and was not a fan, let me tell you. Or having seen anyone else I cared about, for that matter. Or anyone at all, really!

Would it help if you actually saw my form not bound by the rules of the Production? Would it ease your worries at all.

Though I am not trying to belittle your feelings on the matter. 'Tis traumatic and disheartening, but I would ease this burden if I could.
