I don't think it's that comparable because if it means killing someone or watching you die, both those options really, really suck! I get that death is Not A Big Deal to you, I can understand that concept objectively, but it's hard to reconcile that knowledge with what had already happened. I'd already seen you die and was not a fan, let me tell you. Or having seen anyone else I cared about, for that matter. Or anyone at all, really!
