[He is without a doubt going to lose some air in both altitude and the huff of exertion he makes when he has arms fully of Levity. But he manages to somewhat keep them aloft.]
[The thoughts are appreciated even if they rudely don't translate to the physical world. But he does put them down eventually at the tall support spire of a bridge, the water and surrounding city an expanse around them. He does look up even though it is during the day.]
Do you still believe in the guidance of the stars?
[Ruffles Emet's hair! This is the price you pay for being smaller.]
But to answer your question... Let's say that I want to believe. Logically, one could say that the stars are mere conglomerations of aether, guiding us only in the most physical sense. But that doesn't mean we cannot believe in them, that we cannot find our own answers in them.
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Aww, and here I thought I'd come up with a clever way for me to avoid doing any work.

Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
[Surely this is how this works.]
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
I promise to do my best. Shall we give it a try, then?

Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
... Was that...
[Yes, it was necessary.]
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Yes.

Do you still believe in the guidance of the stars?
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Right now? We've only got one star to navigate by, and even that one is rather fake, I imagine.
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
You are probably right. But fake or no, it still seems to be doing the best it can.
[He pats his side getting a good look at him again.]
You know, I think some of your pajamas might still fit in that form, considering the type you favor.

Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
[At the hair ruffling, he does that thing where he looks offended, but he really isn't.]
But do you wish to? Or do you not?
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Hmm... I suppose I do. Of course I would still like to find my own way, but stars aren't the worst things to look for it in, hmm?
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
… do you have a favorite?
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Aww, how sentimental.
[He laughs kindly, though.]
Well... I wonder, actually. They're all quite pretty, much like you say. And each one has its own meaning, doesn't it?
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Am I nothing but?
Each one does. But, why don't you draw one of your own? Who says we have to follow what others view how to connect the stars.
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
[He hums, leaning onto the railing.]
Well, it would be obvious to make up a constellation based on our Bureau, wouldn't it?
Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
But is that you?

Re: Monster Bingo - 415 - Levity
Oh, certainly. Well, I suppose that's something your younger self would have worried about. I'll need to think up something new to menace you with.
