[He raises a hand, tracing out a random pattern.]

[He leans on his shoulder wrapping his wings around him.]

[And then he lifts his head to kiss his cheek.]

[He looks briefly startled at the kiss, but then leans into the embrace, wrapping his wings around Emet in kind.]

... Yes. I've still got a long way to go before I catch up with you, but... I suppose I'm back. At least, moreso than I was before.

You do not need to catch up with me. You are already ahead in your own ways. Besides there is beauty in imperfections. Mine. Yours.

[He studies Emet's face thoughtfully, then rests his chin on top of his head, sighing softly.]

... It's not just about that. We... live in different worlds now, you and I. As you say, you are not Hades and I am not Hythlodaeus - we've lost one another. And I think you've had more time to deal with that loss than I. You've moved on, while I am only just starting to accept it.
