[The thoughts are appreciated even if they rudely don't translate to the physical world. But he does put them down eventually at the tall support spire of a bridge, the water and surrounding city an expanse around them. He does look up even though it is during the day.]

Right now? We've only got one star to navigate by, and even that one is rather fake, I imagine.

But to answer your question... Let's say that I want to believe. Logically, one could say that the stars are mere conglomerations of aether, guiding us only in the most physical sense. But that doesn't mean we cannot believe in them, that we cannot find our own answers in them.

[He raises a hand, tracing out a random pattern.]

[He leans on his shoulder wrapping his wings around him.]

[And then he lifts his head to kiss his cheek.]

[He looks briefly startled at the kiss, but then leans into the embrace, wrapping his wings around Emet in kind.]

... Yes. I've still got a long way to go before I catch up with you, but... I suppose I'm back. At least, moreso than I was before.
