[He squeezes his fingers before standing up intentionally tapping him lightly on the backside with a wing.]

[And he goes to retrieve one of those party plates with meats, cheeses and fruits. It is simple and about all the effort he wants to put in. And he gets them both water.]

[ There's a little surprised noise at that because he didn't expect it, but he lets him go without fuss.

he's still worried about the request itself, but like he said, he can't deny him. He'll simply have to make sure he'll be there for him through it all, and if it's just once more, it should be fine.

So long as Hades won't think of chasing similar effects elsewhere, at least. But he trusts him, and right now he has no reason to believe he would without consulting him. ]

[ there's a little amused smile at Emet offering him up a grape, but he does oblige, and open his mouth for him.

[ look nobody can know he loves this stuff, okay. And he does look quite pleased at being fed by him ]

But it was yours. And though Lahabrea and Cardinal's reactions have been interesting, it does feel more exciting to drink yours.

[If he is looking pleased, he will pull him into his lap. Hades can feed him and eat around him, talented as he is.]

[ So much talent!! And he moves along with that pull easily, a little surprised when Emet kisses at that mark, but he does let out a little appreciative hum ]

[He feeds Five a few more bites and tucks more in himself before he simply just holds him. A slight squeeze just to prove he's there.]

[ It's almost weird to think about how difficult it was for him to accept affection before, and how easy it is now, with Hades. How much he craves it and how much it soothes him. If there's ever a moment in which he can stop thinking about every possible worse scenario, how things can go wrong and everything could slip away from him, it's when he's in his arms.

He kisses the top of his head and wraps his arms around his neck, keeping him close ]

[Being alone is such a draining existence, such a terrible fate. Hades is not sure he could have survived as Five did with no one. Having only the three was bad enough.

[ he shifts a little, kissing behind his ear and then on his neck, his hand reaching for Hades' to hold it, like he did before ]

[He tilts his head and holds his hand letting his thumb run over the back of it.]

[Scratching slightly up and down his back.]

[ He squeezes his hand, and finally bites down on his neck again. Just like that, as he does he lets the hypnosis kick in, lets Hades' worries fade and his more negative thoughts fall to the back of his mind. He's barely sucking his blood, this time, trying to draw this out as last time even without really drinking much from him, knowing how much he needs it ]

[Letting his hand rise to the back of Five's head as he physically relaxes inch by inch. All this worry is terribly bad for his back after all. He closes his eyes and lets out a very pleased humming sound.]

[ his mouth is occupied, so he can't answer back, but he does squeeze his hand, thumb brushing against the back of his for a moment as he drinks his blood slowly. He doesn't know if he can keep him in this state once he finishes drinking but he suppose there's no harm in trying, and so once he's satisfied he'll kiss the same spot he bit, bringing his other hand to Emet's shoulder to push him down on the bed ]

I can and I will keep blaming you, dear.

I suppose there is not much I can do against that.

[He does lie back but opens his arms to capture and pull him with.]

Now don't say anything over dramatic or I will cry. And I don't think I've quite replenished fluids since the last time.

[He does try to kiss him instead.]

[ he kisses him back readily, soft and tender and content with keeping it like that unless Emet has other plans. He keeps holding his hand, and once he does pull back he'll bring his other to his face, brushing his hair aside before he kisses his forehead ]

I'd say I'm not going to be dramatic but we both know that's a lie. Something else I'm ready to blame you for.

But you are the reason I found happiness at all. If it hadn't been for you I would never even have considered it. And now here I am. Wanting to keep you safe and happy in my arms, calling you my fiancé to anyone who'll listen.

[ He shifts at that, moving off of him so he can move to his side, leaning in to kiss his cheek after. ]

[He puts a finger to Five's lips well after he's done speaking.]

Anyone who'd listen? Even though you I did ask you not to be dramatic, I rather like that. You're so... You're brilliant and thoughtful and caring. More observant than I ever guessed. I knew once you mentioned trying to stop the apocalypse you would be a kind soul, but I even I would have never expected to this depths.

[And his eyes are a little glossy, but he does look at him curiously before complying with the request.]

[ he wraps his arms around him and pulls him close immediately once he complies, adjusting his height a little so it won't look quite as ridiculous - but here he is, Five being the big spoon here.

It works well enough to hide his face as well, because after that speech of course he's feeling overwhelmed all over again. Maybe Emet is gaining a new victory now. ]

... I do enjoy it. Being able to show kindness and care with those I love. Even before the apocalypse, it wasn't exactly encouraged at home.

[Five is always the big spoon in spirit. He leans back a little into him getting impossibly close before resting his hand on top of his.]

Your father was quite foolish in that regard. Wanting to teach you teamwork, but not knowing how. But you are no longer shackled by him, the Commission, time or even this place. You can be whatever you like. Life will interfere as it always does, but I do believe you are enjoying the person who you've grown into.

[ there's a pause at that, and he places a soft kiss behind Emet's ear, just considering the words ]

[ which doesn't necessarily mean he enjoyed the person he was before, he's being deliberately obtuse. ]

What about you? You said your burdens do feel lighter.

Maybe a little humility will creep in. Maybe.

[He smiles as he closes his eyes.]

It does. Like a thick fog cleared. As if the world wasn't quite as oppressive as it was before. Even as so far as to say your touch feels a little more real.

[ It's a little heartbreaking in its own way, to hear that. He's glad for the comfort he can provide him now, but he does wish it didn't feel so bad on a regular basis. He'll kiss his neck at that, hold him tight just to give him further proof that he's there, he's real, and he's not leaving him ]

We'll work toward making sure you'll feel that way under regular circumstances too.
