What, putting your world back together? I guess that's valid, given how it's done. Not that I was told outright, but again, I can read between the lines. The people living on those worlds must not think too kindly of you.
Though I do not wish to delve in it further if Lahabrea has not told you more. However, if he does not wish to explain it, I can. Ever was he long winded about such topics.
[He hasn't even seen Emet-Selch get long winded yet and yet he's sure he must be......]
Right. I'll certainly ask another time if he gives the go ahead. I don't expect to get all my gossip from him directly, but, well I guess I'd better ask in the morning how much he's comfortable with.
[He gives a sound of thoughtful agreement at that.]
I suppose I should be clear. I have mentioned it, but in vague terms. I do give you my approval though it hardly needed. I'm sure Lahabrea would lecture me for being a busybody if he heard. Nor does he need my protection except from his own overworking mind.
But he is one of my last remaining brethren, and I lost him once already when I was away. I will be more attentive this time around.
Of the three of us, I am the only one who actually takes time between schemes to rest. 'Twas during one of these times that he meet his downfall much to my regret.
...Right. I already told Lahabrea, though I'm not certain he believes me to be serious, but if you ever see those responsible, for either of you, do let me know.
So long as you don't want a truce ruined, that is. I know Noah is off-limits.
As gratifying as it would be in the moment, considering revivals here I do believe it would be more tangled mess than anything. But the offer is very much appreciated.
[He did not claim to be smart, only reckless and up for revenge murder. And anyway, he might not know Emet-Selch nearly as well, but he's important to Lahabrea. That makes up for it.]
No, I only know of a reluctant truce, not the details.
Instead of trying to race each other to our goals --- a bloodletting the entire way, we've come to an agreement. Considering the possibility of multiple timelines, one each the other will give. One timeline for each to have our wishes granted.
I'm not arrogant enough to believe I could save them all. A thousand thousand lifetimes we have toiled, and yet still we have not reached our goal. And of three, only one remains.
How could I risk it when another path might lie ahead?
One more left, I could buy it now, but then I would be left with nothing and I think it best to have something in reserve. I'll most likely make the purchase tomorrow. I don't see how that's related though.

But as much as I wish to mock him so, he has been working diligently on not burning himself out. Ever does his passion burn bright.

[But he can't let go of the idea that he'd still be filled with just as much rage if he was, say, beaten by his brother in any alternate world.]
Re: 248 night
Well, this the best path forward for now. Whose to say I won't get bored after saving one, and continue to scheme and plot again.

A consequence of having very little to work on. You shouldn't get too excited about the complete opposite end of the spectrum.
[Although he's obsessive and a perfectionist, so when he does have something, it will be the same...]

Ah, but don't take my words too seriously. 'Tis a trait I apparently find charming seeing as those I am closest to all seem to have it.
