[He does come in, but once Emet closes the door Levity just instantly pivots around to step closer and put his forehead against Emet's shoulder wordlessly.]
[He could have been smaller but aren't you glad to have one person in your friend circle that doesn't make your posture worse?
Levity nods, still quiet, holding onto Emet's arm as he follows him. There's a sense that he wants to say something, a kind of tension that only grows when he fails to find the words. But eventually, he manages to ask.]
Can I stay here tonight? With... you, and Lahabrea...
[He draws his feet up once he sits down, curling up, staring at the floor while Emet makes the cocoa. There's still a lot of tension and exhaustion to him... but the reason becomes apparent soon enough.]
[He shakes his head, slowly raising his hands to bury his face in them, shoulders tense and breath speeding up. He's... definitely going to cry.]
I don't... I want...
[...for all of this to never have happened, to not have to sell his soul to whoever runs this place just to get back the chance at peaceful life that should never have been taken away in the first place, without even any true guarantee there won't be steeper and steeper price to pay to keep it that way.]
[He doesn't answer for a time. It seems like this is a matter of emotion rather than logic; Levity tenses in Emet's arms but presses closer against him, still fighting against his own tears. When he answers, his voice is pained and choked.]
I feel as though--I can't take it, Hades... All of this--
Close your eyes. Cry if you must. 'Tis no shame in it. Take a deep breathe. It may seem overbearing, insurmountable right at this moment, but do not lose hope. Not all is lost.
[He nods mutely, wrapping his arms around Emet tightly, hiding in the embrace... and at first he's just tense, but soon enough he starts crying quietly, almost silently, like he doesn't have the strength to do anything else.]
[Emet's soothing gestures seem to help, though it takes some time for Levity to calm down somewhat. He doesn't raise his head, staying hidden in the hug.]
[He tugs him towards the bathroom. It's large and luxurious just like everything in this room. Lahabrea did good. He starts a extra warm bath with soaps and scents and gives him a fluffy bathrobe.]

Re: 357 probably
Ah, Hythlodaeus. Come in.
[And he does move aside for him.]

Re: 357 probably
Is aught amiss?
Re: 357 probably
Everything.
Re: 357 probably
A soft bed and a warm drink might help make it feel less overwhelming.

[He does sit him on the couch or the bed while he makes him cocoa.]
Re: 357 probably
...I want to go home.

[He wraps his arms around him and kisses his head.]
Tell me. What thoughts are circling in your head?

[ding dong turns out trauma feels bad!]

Re: 357 probably
It is alright. To feel overwhelmed. To worry. To doubt. But take comfort that others are with you. You are not alone, my friend.
Re: 357 probably
... It's all so wrong.
Re: 357 probably
You need not be composed, Hythlodaeus, nor alright. Just stay here and soak up the comfort you need.
Re: 357 probably
...can I stay the night?
Re: 357 probably
I'm afraid all of my pajamas are devoid of soft ears and fuzzy feet. Though I imagine you will make do.
Re: 357 probably
...what an oversight. Perhaps I shall buy you some later.
Re: 357 probably
I do have fur blankets. Perhaps you can get creative.
But I think a nice soak in a bath would help, too.
Re: 357 probably
would actually be really good, yeah.]
...Mm. It sounds very nice.
Re: 357 probably
Go soak. I'll wash your hair.
