You've seen me in your memories. I have no doubts you agree.
But all will be well in time. And you can always stay here when it becomes too much to weather. We have a library if you'd like to learn or we can just relax.
Pessimistic and prone to taking matters a little too seriously. Though I would say you are somewhat different now from how you are in my memories.
[Tipping his head back, pls pet he]
Relaxation is what I seek right now, I would say. It... would be nice not to have to think. My thoughts run in circles and there are no answers. I'm just... tired.
[The touch is nice! He closes his eyes, sighing softly and leaning into it.]
...The night sky is part of it, yes. Working on something intricate. From my memories I've gathered that I enjoy watching the world around me, but that is not much solace here. All it does is remind me of our situation.
[He continues humming a nonsensical rhythm for a moment before finding the right words.]
You love life. You love puzzles. You love showing people in that way of yours how to build deeper bonds with others, and to test them in equal measure. You bask in the happiness of others.
But perhaps some old arcane puzzles might interest you. I am falling behind on my homework.
[He smiles a little apologetically at that. Showing people how to build deeper bonds...
Ah well, he'll shelve that thought away for the moment.]
That might be good, yes. I think I would like to keep holding onto things that remind me of home. That it's possible to return.
[...]
It's such a strange thing to be aware of my death. I would have thought that maybe it would spur me to fight for my life, but instead I feel all the... less present.
It has been ages since I've given you my work and a red pen.
[He takes both of his hands and helps him stand up.]
Consider that sentence for a moment. To be aware of your death. Usually that's the finale then and there. The fact that we can gaze upon it while breathing is well, miraculous and unsettling at best.
[Hmm! Let's ignore the whole whole-vs-sundered thing right now, Levity would prefer not to think about it. He takes the notebook, though, flipping it open and running his eye down the notes.]
Giving up everything. Your home, your star, those whom you shared memories of times before here would be difficult. Though I do know some make the choice.

[He kisses his forehead before he does pet him and run his fingers through his hair.]
And what calms you? Soothing music? The night sky? A good book to read?

It will take time to adjust.
Re: 357 probably
... Mm. I wonder if it is harder because we are meant to be immortal. Mortals cheat and flee death every day, but for us it is a truly final end...
[He shakes his head, trying to chase the thoughts away.]
Ah, but I wonder if my skills will measure up to your expectations.
Re: 357 probably
I do pity them. That their lives are so fleeting, but as long as their souls are whole, well, then perhaps that was meant to be.
[He finds him a comfy spot on the couch to sit on and brings out a few notebooks with scribbles and opens one up.
The concepts in the first book are notes on teleportation from the most rudimentary to highly complex arcane equations.]

Hmm... Transcending space, hm?

...what do you and Five plan to do?
