I've been resting and reflecting mostly. I was sad to hear I missed Paloma's game, but I did get to speak with her albeit briefly.
Other than that, I've been enjoying time with my loved ones. Something I ought to do more often. And my thanks again for the lenses. I have been using them.
[she chuckles devilishly at that before she becomes much more reflective]
Oh, uhm, just it turns out I was born or made or whatever--I remember Soul Songs: every soul has its own music that I was attuned to. My brother was more like you, he could See their colours. But things are often...much quieter without that ambient noise now that I remember it's supposed to exist.
Perhaps some ambient music for your room would not go amiss though I know it won't hold the same sway. For I imagine the sound of soul is as hard to replicate as the color.
[what is she going to do with all this affection. She blushes faintly and kisses his cheek, grateful and slightly more relaxed for the reassurance.
Though, it's bound to cost her considering how her memories almost always are, but it will be worth it. He doesn't need to know that, though. It's a downer.]
That is a good idea. [she taps her chin thoughtfully] ...I still haven't done anything with my room yet, so that would be a good first step.
[She looks askance for a moment]
...Sometimes, I can't help but wonder just what I am.
[She will remember, in time, what was told to her about love, what she herself knows about it, but it's difficult to reconcile the truth with her own reality.]

I'm glad you are enjoying his company. I always did. It warms my heart to hear it.

[she smiles brightly.]
How are you doing, though? I know you've been busy, too.

She wrote me, too, and tasked me with kissing all the ladies, a duty I do not bear lightly.
[she's serious she's so serious emet]
Well, for the most part, time is not in short supply here so I do hope you'll get to spend as much time with them as you wish.
[but ahhhh when he thanks her she blushes]
N-not a problem, I'm glad they were useful to you. It turns out IIII actually know what that's like, after a fashion.

[Though he gives her a curious look.]
What happened?

[she perks up. that's unpleasant who cares]
It does explain a thing or two, anyway!
no subject
[He takes both of her hands.]
That does sound beautiful. You should show it to me in a dream sometime.
no subject
It might explain why music is actually very deeply important to me. I mean, it is for a lot of people, but turns out I was living it.
[her face falls for a moment, brow furrowing]
It's frustrating, though, I don't...remember my brother's soul. I know why, but I don't...
[she shakes her head gently, smiling.]
Anyway, I wouldn't mind showing you sometime, of course.
no subject
Give it time. You will remember.
Perhaps some ambient music for your room would not go amiss though I know it won't hold the same sway. For I imagine the sound of soul is as hard to replicate as the color.
I would dearly love to hear it.

[He tilts his head in question.]
Perhaps a better question is what do you want to be? And how does what you are align with thusly?
Though if you are worried that you aren't 'human', I can't imagine that being an issue.
no subject
All I know is that I was manufactured but it seems like something was wrong with the process, or something.

When all is said and done, you are you at the end of the day. And this is the you we've come to cherish and love.
Now if these issues manifest in ailments and other symptoms, we can help research them as well.

But tell me your concerns about your ailments.
no subject
Ah, but what if she starts to cry, instead?]
no subject
Not the reaction I was expecting, but do not doubt yourself.
no subject
B-but I haven't...
no subject
Shh. You have.

I wasn't told anything, I had to figure things out on my own.
no subject
[He runs his fingers under her eyes to try to dry them.]
'Tis ironic, is it not? That you love so fiercely but can not see the same returned to you.
no subject
[She closes her eyes and winces.]
I know that that's not how it works, but I can't--
[she's just so wired that way it's hard to untangle it all]
