We Harbingers all had our own agenda. Of course we wouldn't trust each other. Ah, but beyond that, he's a troublemaker and has a tendency to make things worse.
You're really going out of your way to impress me today, aren't you, old man?
It doesn't matter to me anymore. But when we were paired together, if he went ahead and did things the way he wanted it was only going to be a pain for me. Our styles are different.
This? 'Tis simply a way to make you feel more at ease here. And I much rather prefer this to some other unit bonding activities. Beyond that, there is a simple joy in making others feel comfortable. I rarely get to accomplish that in earnest.
[Sorry, he isn't getting anything fancy due to always poor, but at least he goes more high end than fast food.]
Our conversation might have taken a turn at the talk of heroes and broken husks. A bit of the magic faltered or revealed depending on how you wish to view it.
And it isn't you aren't capable of taking care of yourself, but often we are forced to. So this is simply a way of being pampered.
Interesting thing for you to bring up. I was wondering what could possibly bother you so much about being called heroic. You know now why I disliked being called a broken husk. It's your turn.
Heroes are short sighted fools whom only see the problems in front of their noses. Using justice and duty where listening and understanding would be better tools. Simple bloodletting though they'd scream your ears deaf if you tell them that.
Heroes also forget how to live in the worlds they build, and why they are building them in the first place. Sacrificing 'til they are naught but dust, but leaving no salvation in their wake.
It means you can pay half and so can I. I wonder, considering your unique upbringing, what else you might be missing. Has anyone taught you what a pinkie promise is, for example.
You make a pinkie promise, you keep it all your life. You break a pinkie promise, I throw you on the ice. The cold will kill the pinkie that once betrayed your friend, the frost will freeze your tongue off so you never lie again.
We weren't close. We sparred sometimes when I was bored and he felt overconfident, and went on a few missions together here and there. But it's always been a pain.
Ah, but it has been a long time since I last saw him. In the end maybe I got a little nostalgic...
As for Her Majesty... She rules from her throne of ice with an equally icy gaze. We Harbinger are free to do as we please so long as we bring in results for her, and obey her directions. But getting an audience with her is never good news.

Re: 314 morning
Just drop me the name of the production you want to see.
Re: 314 morning
[He will tell him a name but is pending Yvette's suggestion at the moment!]
Re: 314 morning
And by rumor I mean my underlings told me after following him around.
Re: 314 morning
[He finishes up in the department store and just starts to head upwards sort of expecting him to follow.]

Re: 314 morning
And you sound like one of my carefully constructed nations. Are you worried it will all fall to dust before you reach your goal?
[He's taking him to the restaurants upstairs to get the skinny guy something to eat.]

Fixing the messes left by said heroes.

We're not eating this stuff. I still have an excess of 2000 points.

I'm a Harbinger, I've been to Snezhnaya,
Re: 314 morning
And have you made a promise that could result is such consequences to a certain person from Shezhnaya?
Re: 314 morning
Only to the Tsaritsa herself. Maybe that's why I died in the end.
Re: 314 morning
I was wondering if you were going to say you made a promise to a certain young man with orange hair. How close were you back home?
And how strict was she?

Re: 314 morning
He probably was rather entertaining. I imagine you more akin to a cat then. Soaking up his presence and the distraction it brought.
Can she be all that bad? I would call Caeli a free spirit.
