[He can't actually purchase Taisho clothing without a proxy, so he takes them, snaps a few pictures, wraps them in a box and puts 'Purchase Pending' in a nice script on it and sends a text.]
I'll have someone on the appropriate unit deliver these to your door. You should have them by the end of the day.
[He smiles.]
Ours are aligned. I enjoy theater. Though 'tis hard with the limit crew to make any sort of production. But I enjoy watching more than being a part of it. Outside of that it is star gazing.
But I did notice you had a small amount of makeup. I cannot purchase the garments for you at the moment, but there are stands and mirrors to apply this.
Then performing for you won't be too much of a waste. Though I'm surprised you care that much about the stars.
Make-up for performances is far more stylized than this. If I put it on now, it'd be a waste and I'd ruin my current one on top of it. Or are you asking me to fix yours?
The night is the best time to view the lifestream, the river on which all souls are born and return. Though you can't see it here, but I was gifted a room that could mimic the phenomenon. It's also a time I can enjoy being myself. Casting off duties and responsibilities after day's end.
[He shakes his head and holds up makeup which he do go fetch while he was shopping.]
No, I just want to play with what you currently have on. Nothing as dramatic as for a performance. Perhaps you'll even give me a few pointers.
Oh? Do you think I'm just a doll you can play with however you please, dressing me up and painting my face? I could really take it personally, you know.
[ a pause ]
I'm joking. You would not be the first old man who wants to play with what I have. I'll allow it this once. If you make it worse, however, you'll have to buy more than a few clothes to make up for it.
Who do you take me for? Whatever the color I can do a good enough job regardless.
[ and he's going to start immediately, pushing Emet's hair back a bit so it won't be in the way ]
I'm surprised you get along with Tartaglia. With the way you're talking, you sound like you would have been an efficient and competent Harbinger. Something he never was.
[ thank u he's tiny. And he just makes an annoyed grunt at that last part ]
He's good for fighting and can use his brain when he wants to, but he's not reliable. Were it up for me, he would never have been a Harbinger to start with.
Then again.
I'm the one who betrayed them, so perhaps I shouldn't judge.
My own, or "my organization"? The Tsaritsa's plan isn't something she would share with us in details. But we know she wants to unite Teyvat and fight the Gods up above.
As for me ...
"Revenge" would be the closest one I had. But in the end even that is all for but a moment of fleeting joy, isn't it.
I'm surprised Tartaglia hasn't told you that much. Teyvat itself is ruled by the "Archons". Every nation has its own deity to protect and guide them, and that's what the Archons are.
But they are not the gods the Tsaritsa is planning to fight against. Those reside up in the sky, by and large just ignoring whatever is going on beneath them. The Archons are just convenient pieces on a board.
My maker is one of the Archons. Though "was" is more accurate now. I did think she was the one I wanted revenge on. But in the end, the entire world would be more correct.
Close your eyes.
[ Unless he wants him to blind him with a brush ]
You must have put the pieces together by now, no? About what I am.
[ he pulls back now, tapping on Emet's shoulder and taking a mirror so he can show him his work. He's pretty good so it's probably a good enhancement to what Emet already had, though it's definitely less subtle ]
Perhaps it simply means that I am a being that surpasses mortals and gods alike. Neither them nor fate are qualified to meddle with me.
No. They cannot. You could simply be another soul that got to close and filled the vessel.
If there is naught for you there, then going back would be pointless. Not when endless possibilities lie before you. But you are taking a shine to Caeli, are you not? As for why, I simply dislike wasted efforts.
I am not "taking a shine" on Caeli. He's conveniently here and he happens to be a brat who's seeking affection just because I'm a familiar face. The novelty of my presence here is going to wear off soon enough, and I'll just move onto something else to keep me occupied when that happens. I don't care.
You're right that there's nothing waiting for me back in my world. And I don't care about going back to it. But where I'll go from here - I don't know yet.
[He does take a good look at the makeup now, giving a compliment for the job well done.]
What an odd way to phrase it. Not that you will bore of him, but he will bore of you. I imagine you will care when that happens. Just a little.
[He does reach out to pat his arm or his hand.]
Good. You have time to decide. This place isn't terribly quick about graduations. And here I thought I would have to slowly convince you over time to not return to a place you are not fond of. You'd be surprised how stubborn people can be.

Re: 314 morning
[He gives a soft shrug of his shoulders not truly bothered.]
If it does not delight you, we can find something else that does.
Re: 314 morning
If you are giving me the choice, then I’d rather play with you instead.
Re: 314 morning
[He tosses the make up kit to him.]
Not normally my colors, but do your best. Or perhaps worst.

Re: 314 morning
[He will find a place to sit to help facilitate Scaramouche not having to reach so high.]
I know not about your goals and schemes, but I imagine if he was truly that incompetent, you'd have kicked him from your merry band.

Re: 314 morning
You can judge all you like. No one is going to stop you. As for your cause, would you mind explaining it to me?

Re: 314 morning
... You have gods?
[No one has told him about Archons yet! Or that Zhongli is even one.]

Re: 314 morning
So whom do wish revenge against? The gods above? The archons? Or perhaps your maker?

Re: 314 morning
A vessel.
Re: 314 morning
[ he's going to continue he's work, taking Emet's chin to move his face to better angles when he needs, and so on ]
Though I was only a prototype. I was never supposed to gain consciousness and I was left to rot like trash, sealed and forgotten. Yet here I am.
Re: 314 morning
Yet here you are with enough of a passion to chase after revenge. How did you manage that?
Re: 314 morning

Re: 314 morning
[With a whole 10% sincerity as he's definitely looking at Scaramouche through the mirror and not the make up.]
Or perhaps that you always had a soul, but it was simply just shy at first. You aren't wishing to go back, are you?
Re: 314 morning
Why are you asking? Worried for me now?
Re: 314 morning
