Pinocchio: Your competition is the rest of Baritones and the entirety of this place. Unfortunately I can't prevent the rest of the Unit from finding out, not forever, so I'll tell them as well sooner or later. I just don't feel like it now.
Pinocchio: As for my blood, I have no idea. Ask Tartaglia about dietary issues with it.
Pinocchio: I suspect my heart has been replaced as well, but I'm not in a hurry to try to rip it out and verify.

Emet-Selch: You can make them forget if they are willing.
Emet-Selch: And how dreadful. Well, I suppose they have to get the body parts in the shop from somewhere. Perhaps you’ll find it again would you be lucky enough.
Emet-Selch: Dreary talk aside, might I inquire what hobbies you partake in?

Pinocchio: Would it matter if the next game where I lose my clothes and up the same? I'd rather use Baritones to my advantage and have you shield me from other Units' eyes
Pinocchio: And if the choice is between being seen and dying I'd rather die
Pinocchio: Why the question? Are you hoping to bond with me through shared interests?
Pinocchio: I have enjoyed performing in the past. I still do from time to time. Dancing and acting — there is a form of art called "Kabuki" where I am from, and performances focus on both of those things. Alongside suitably dramatic clothing, make-up and props.

Oh, I have no doubts that you could. But allow an old man to feel useful. As for what I want in return is for you to feel comfortable. The more comfortable you are, the easier roommate you become.

Tartaglia can use a variety of weapons, as far as I'm aware magic is not actually beyond him. He may appreciate it more than you are giving him credit for.

If you wanted Taisho style clothes, all you needed to do was ask. I'll put in an order with a friend.

No. It would be in line with my expectations after all.

And it's only a matter of this style being more suited for my type of performances. Just any dramatic clothing won't do. Even these are only barely acceptable.

[ once Emet is back, he'll actually check those sets to make sure they work well. Look at him actually caring ]

[He can't actually purchase Taisho clothing without a proxy, so he takes them, snaps a few pictures, wraps them in a box and puts 'Purchase Pending' in a nice script on it and sends a text.]

Ours are aligned. I enjoy theater. Though 'tis hard with the limit crew to make any sort of production. But I enjoy watching more than being a part of it. Outside of that it is star gazing.

But I did notice you had a small amount of makeup. I cannot purchase the garments for you at the moment, but there are stands and mirrors to apply this.

Then performing for you won't be too much of a waste. Though I'm surprised you care that much about the stars.

Make-up for performances is far more stylized than this. If I put it on now, it'd be a waste and I'd ruin my current one on top of it. Or are you asking me to fix yours?

The night is the best time to view the lifestream, the river on which all souls are born and return. Though you can't see it here, but I was gifted a room that could mimic the phenomenon. It's also a time I can enjoy being myself. Casting off duties and responsibilities after day's end.

I'm surprised you get along with Tartaglia. With the way you're talking, you sound like you would have been an efficient and competent Harbinger. Something he never was.

Come now. I have very little to judge your work ethic on. I could be pleasantly surprised or disappointed.

I know not about your goals and schemes, but I imagine if he was truly that incompetent, you'd have kicked him from your merry band.
