[How can he not react with a laugh and a blush, wrapping his arms around Emet to pull him close.]

[He lets him sit up, humming in thought.]

Good. It must feel so fleeting at times for him. Those that he can depend on. That would love him without question. Not that I believe his family would not, but that his mind has difficulty grasping it moving from calamity to calamity as he has.

Isolation is poison to the soul and mind, it is a wonder he is as well as he is.
