So long as it's not a poetry book, I have no objections.
[He cuddles up to him as well with an arm around him so he can pet his hair as he starts reading. It isn't poetry, but it probably is pretty dark reading. And between turning pages he will look at him and smile fondly.]

[ The day has been more than a little emotionally draining and so it doesn't take him long to start dozing off. He'll try to stay awake for a little while, partly because Emet's presence and voice feels calming in and of itself and he wants to have as much of it as possible.
[He keeps reading long after his breathing has evened out. When he finally puts the book down, he will, as stated, watch him sleep.
He can’t put into words how much he loves this man.
And he will dip into his dreams just enough to calm them as quietly as possible. And after a few hours of watching the steady rhythm of his breathing, he will join him in slumber.]
