I appreciate your concern, but I'm not insecure, and you've proved how much you care enough times that even I had to just believe it. Your family showing up doesn't change it. As I said I'm simply happy you have someone from home with you now - as irreplaceable as I know I am to you, I know the same is true for him as well.

Well now I am both embarrassed and properly scolded.

Mayhaps I've been hanging around those who are more possessive than is healthy.

I figure it helps that I'm actually invested in your well-being, so. I would like to think that you having someone else to truly rely on is a pretty good development.

I'm going to take a guess and imagine Absinthe has not been as mature. He is one of the people to whom you're closest, isn't he.

Delightfully infuriating as Absinthe is, a possessive streak from him is a cause for worry. Engaging in such an act would be to try to get under my skin and not a true concern of his.

Truthfully, I was thinking more of Kohime and Ruby.

Kohime is basically a cat and Ruby is a dragon. I feel like that must be a factor.
