[He arrives in the most casual thing he has that is an upgrade from a bathrobe. Why not spend your days in comfort if you know you aren't leaving, right?
I imagine I’ll let you bounce around the room as I watch.
You’ve seen the beach and planetarium. We do have a dance hall and a movie theater. Vergil has an outdoor space but that should be his to show you. Ah, and an aquarium.
Oh, I think someone has mentioned the aquarium to me before! I would love to see that.
[He chuckles.]
You're quite lucky with the kind of rooms you can get, hmm? We are rather more restricted by our aesthetic. Not that I dislike it, as such, but I would prefer to be able to have more... organic spaces, as it were.
Oh, I could certainly have holograms. I believe Intensity has a lot of notes on creating those as well... But I'm certain you know that I enjoy things with more presence, as it were.
[Levity goes to put his notes and everything on an available desk before, indeed, skipping off to check out the aquariums! Heeeere fishy fishy fishy.]
I do wonder if I could have someone on LiliS help me out, although I'm pretty certain that the two people I know on that unit best do not have much interest in gardening.
That man was serious about his work. I do wish him the best.
[There will be brightly colored fish abound along with that wavy reflection that litters the floor and walls that makes everything seem a little more serene.]
What sort of plants do you like? I was imagining bright and bold, but you may yet surprise me.
[Cute... Levity turns to face him, raising his hand and holding his thumb and index finger apart to indicate approximate size.]
I think he was rather touched! I made him a lapel pin, about this big, with the ornament of the three herbs that are the main ingredients of absinthe--the drink, that is. I confess, I was quite delighted to see him wear it.
How clever! A gift unique and specialized for him and the decisions he has made up until now. He did tell me once that he did prefer his Baritones name to his actual one.
And of course you were delighted. You did always enjoy watching others flourish and grow with just a hint of pushing. You can be terribly showy, but I found your subtle touches always had more impact.
[...closes his eyes briefly because of COURSE absinthe actually likes his new name better but let levity call him "ardyn" because he doesn't hate it so that's okay. god. why are baritones like this. someone's going to get a talk later.]
Is it not the contrast between my usual extravagance and those subtler acts that provides that impact?
[Yes, but it's not fun if they don't at least pretend to be their usual grump-and-gremlin combo!]
More the latter. I'm learning that with your unit I really, really need to structure my questions in such a way that there is no room to wriggle out of telling the truth.
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
Accomplice: Oh... It's true I haven't seen all of them! I would love that.
Accomplice: I'll be there soon, then. :)
[And, some fifteen minutes later, there's a knock on the BiT door!]
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
Upon opening the door he gives him a hug.]
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
It's good to see you.
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
[He starts to lead him to his room.]
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
[Hey Emet do you want to link arms, y/y.]
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
[Guess they have linked arms because he’s too tired to be fussy about it.]
Show me your progress, then. I’m curious to see what you’ve come up with. Unless you’d like to explore first.
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
I would quite like to explore! Unless it would be too tiring for you right now?

Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
Could you make a room of holograms? Then you could almost make it seem real.
[I am on mobile so I can’t find the room description but it is half office / half aquarium. Plenty of very large tanks that cover the walls.
Emet finds a couch and sprawls across it.]
Or you just might have to import in the foliage.

Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
Mm... Depends on the setting, I suppose. I do quite like variety!
[He gasps in delight as an idea comes to him.]
Oh--what a fool I am. I should definitely have lilies!
[like, you know, his WIFE,]
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
Of course. Well, they are hardly that expensive on the shop. Treat yourself. A little life and warmth to brighten up your space.
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
I certainly will. Oh, and speaking of plants - did I tell you I finally gave Ardyn his gift?
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
[Emet is 99% sure his was. How could he not be?]

Levity?
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
What is it?
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
[He chuckles fondly, sitting down to pat Emet on the head.]
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
I’ve seen that face. Was it a mischievous jest or a scolding that came to mind?
Re: 346 second half/closer to evening
