Accomplice: Why am I not surprised?
Accomplice: Ah... Speaking of surprises.
Accomplice: Can I ask you what would make a good gift for Ardyn?

Hades: What a difficult question.
Hades: I have only given him the chess set and I don't believe I will be able to top it until we are no longer in the Production.
Hades: If I were to give a suggestion, whatever you give make it rustic or handmade.
Hades: For example if you were to gift wine glasses learn how to blow the glass yourself. Not the easiest task, but I believe the effort will charm him as much as the gift.

Accomplice: Ah, that does sound like a rather good idea!
Accomplice: I did intend it to be handmade, yes, as a token of my affection. But I'm having trouble settling on what, exactly.
Accomplice: Wine glasses do sound thematically appropriate for your unit. A pair: one for him and one for you, perhaps?
Accomplice: I do want it to have some emotional significance... but we haven't much I could use as a symbol yet, he and I.
Accomplice: And what we do have that could easily be framed as symbolic is not exactly worth celebrating.

Hades: Then if I might ask, what is it about him that you enjoy.
Hades: What you both have is more than just the one incident as overbearing as it is.

Accomplice: Indeed, but the things we do have are mainly... immaterial.
Accomplice: Before, I would have professed to having romantic feelings for him, but... I'm certain you understand how that is a slippery slope as of now.
Accomplice: But I do enjoy his wit, the discussions we'd have and most of all I am glad of his trust.
Accomplice: Not precisely things you can pack in a gift box, hmm?

Hades: You can make a symbol of it.
Hades: What about his wit do you like?
Hades: Get him the glass as a more practical gift.
Hades: And then get him a necklace with an emoji that reminds you of him as something more entertaining.

Accomplice: Hmmm... I wonder which emoji it would be.
Accomplice: Oh, I would love to make one for Vergil, actually. He seems to dislike the "cryptic little faces". It's quite adorable.

Hades: If you get good at making them, why not make a few.
Hades: Though I will admit, Absinthe would understand the humor of it while I believe Vergil would just be confused.
Hades: But that might be your goal.

Accomplice: Oh, certainly.
Accomplice: I do feel a little bad having fun at Vergil's expense when he's so clueless!
Accomplice: I'll think about what joking gift I can get for Absinthe.
Accomplice: On a more serious front, I think I would like to make something involving the ingredients used to make the drink he's named after.
Accomplice: I did have to resort to calling him Anise for a time, with people who don't know his true name and when I could not quite manage to bring his usual one to my lips.

Hades: Then give him a token for the new name you are crafting for him.
Hades: And that is kind of you. To hold his new name in secret.
Hades: I'm not sure how he feels about it truly. The name he was born with.

Accomplice: I do know he is secretive about his past. I would not reveal it to those who do not know it already.
Accomplice: But I've asked him about how he feels about it, too.
Accomplice: He said that he does see it as his own name, even if it was practically a different person who was given that name.

Hades: He's quite opened up to you.
Hades: I know the times do see difficult.
Hades: But I rather proud of both of you.

Accomplice: We did have a heart to heart of sorts today, yes. It was quite nice to speak openly.
Accomplice: Hint hint, et cetera.
Accomplice: (Worry not, I am simply teasing. Ardyn advised me to be patient with you two as well.)

Hades: Now I know I'm being unreasonable if even he is telling others to be patient.
Hades: But we will get there, my friend.
Hades: And I do thank you for your patience.

Accomplice: I do hope so.
Accomplice: Have you spoken with Lahabrea on this matter? I do sometimes feel like perhaps you are not entirely coordinated on what you tell me.

Hades: I find it highly entertaining everyone assumes we are so vastly coordinated.
Hades: We trust each other to do what we think is best.
Hades: And he wishes for me to speak with you. I doubt he will be too concerned about the subject matter.
Hades: For that is the trust we have in each other.

Accomplice: I will confess that the apparent lack of communication between all three of you is baffling and at times alarming to me.
Accomplice: Or, well, lack of cohesion, perhaps.

Hades: You make it sound as if you wish us to conspire against you.

Accomplice: Well, what I was going for is wishing for you all to talk to each other more openly, too.
Accomplice: I know your unit has a penchant for privacy, but... too much of a good thing, as they say.
Accomplice: You all seem closed off by nature, and you are further put in an environment that encourages remaining so.

Hades: Then I would recommend a history lesson.
Hades: Ask Yvette or Eichi or even Kohime what BARiTONES was like the first day I arrived.
Hades: I will not argue that I am being cagey.
Hades: But the rest have come a long way.

Accomplice: I'm afraid Kohime is the only one I have even a passing familiarity with. I've yet to meet the rest of your unit, even when I do visit your dorm.
Accomplice: It is not my intention to say you or the others haven't improved, but I do want to encourage you to keep improving.
Accomplice: And just so you know, this is the kind of meddling you will be signing up for if you do choose to stay my friend.

Hades: I suppose Yvette and Eichi have been busy with returned loved ones.

Hades: Sometimes I can't tell what you want from me.

Accomplice: See? You can do it!
Accomplice: But I confess to feeling the same towards you two.
Accomplice: I think we can both agree that removing yourselves from my space in order to let me be whoever I want to be isn't quite working out as intended.
