His fingertips trace Emet's throat, his clavicle, eyes half closing.]
I filled a crystal with it once.
The memories. Our home. Little things.
[His eyes do close, and where his fingertips mingle with Emet's soul he shares them, the little details he preserved before time eroded the rest. The way the light fell through the curtains on the wall just over there, the potted plants, the little curios left around the place, gifts from friends or from one adventurous friend.
Even more intimate things, the layout of the bedroom, how Hythlodaeus never made the bed, the crystals scattered on a desk, concepts to review, a hairbrush on the bedside table, not everything, not every detail, but as many as he can recall, as he's worn into his own memory by revisiting over and over.]
[He makes a face and taps his fingers to Emet's lips.]
Our burdens are heavy and our hearts carry more sorrow than is bearable. And here you sit, a vision of the past in a memory of a time before tragedy.
[He leaves his fingers there, gazing down at Emet with both love and sorrow, and the madness of eons, but also a gentle little quirk of his lips.]
I will listen if you wish, I will cry and wail out my heart and soul, for they've no purpose if their purpose isn't to be yours. I'll act out the sorrow of millennia and carve my very being into your flesh and your soul, I'll show you passion and vulnerability and love and despair and everything. I'll take comfort in your words and offer you my own, I'll be selfish and greedy and demanding and protective and sly.
But to surround us in a time before such pain, I think perhaps you should remember other things as well. How to look grumpy when your heart is tender, to laugh or smile or complain about my antics while really hoping I'll never listen to a word.
Whatever the eons have done to both of us, this place is where your heart lies, and I am who it lies with. It's the same for me. My heart could be nowhere but here.
[His fingers drop to Emet's chest over his heart.]

Scold me if you like, but I think a man who's so stingy with his aether should be indulged in the setting he's chosen.
[He reaches up to cup his face with both hand letting his thumbs rub over his cheeks. And though his reply is short he listens to every single word with rapt attention.]
And for this moment, let us forget past and present, future and duties. Do not dwell in what we were and what we are. Shed it all for this interaction.
Though I will admit I did make this place a little nostalgic.
[Oh. He does like this, leaning his forehead to Emet's and smiling at him.]
You're making my plans difficult.
[But not impossible and he's not complaining.]
I suppose asking you to look away would be unreasonable.
[He wraps his arms around Hades, palm trailing up his spine and fingertips kneading the back of his neck, urging him to rest his head on Hyth's shoulder.]
Pray tell, let me in on your plan, and I can help.
[He doesn't need much coaxing his rest his head on his shoulder. As long as he can see the color of his soul, the rest is icing on the cake. And he does shudder a little under the touch. A tad sensitive just for this man.
But he isn't idle either, he runs his own hand on his upper back ensuring to pet his aether as he does.]
[He shivers himself, how can he not? Always sensitive to this man. But he lifts a hand away, summoning the hairbrush with a little aether, one hand petting Emet's hair a little before running down along his spine to return the aetheric pets.
The other begins to brush his hair gently, no reason other than to do something pleasant and nice.]
I think you're the one making my scheme more difficult!
[He just ha-rumps and pulls the brush away for a slight moment so he can gather his hair in his own hands. When he's done, the hair is quite long. More akin to the length his more monstrous forms.]
[He runs his fingers through it, when there's not a single hint of tangle, just playing with it for the moment, before starting to separate it with long fingers, gently beginning to braid.]
