[He actually stretches his arms up at the question, popping his back.]
And here I was going to take a break from all this. The personas. The plays. I was promised a hundred year nap at least. But here I am back on the stage. And one that gets me no closer to my goals. Infuriating honestly.
Alright. Alright. I wonder if this trick will work on you, or you'll simply get huffy like the rest. Think of a place in your mind. One you would rather be than here a this moment. Hold it there.
He can do whatever he likes. He earned the free will he has, ...every action simply has a reaction and potentially a consequence. [ rubs one of its petals between his thumb and forefinger, gently... and then he just tears it off, letting it drop. he crushes the flower in hand after, letting its crushed bits drop after that poor little petal. ]
I wonder why they get huffy. [ he thinks of an empty white void with the biggest smile on his face. ]
You speak as if he didn't have a will of his own before.
[He snaps his fingers and for a moment, the most briefest moment they will be there in that empty void.
Emet, of course, rolls his eyes. But whatever 'feeling' he would expect from such a place that is what his senses tell him. Convincing him its real.
And maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. If Emet existed with his full powers it would be real, but whose to say in this strange place they've found themselves.
But it will only last a single moment before it is gone and they are back in the forest.]
[ dottore makes no further comments about scaramouche. ]
[ he feels nothing. he didn't choose a place that means anything to him. he's still holding his cards close to his chest, but instead just chose a place that would make it obvious if emet's powers held any water... and they do, even if it's brief because of what this place does to everybody. ]
How very interesting. [ muses thoughtfully. ] It's a shame about what they do to us, don't you think?
I guess we'll just have to see if anything changes for the... better? [ he shrugs. ] Until we meet again then. [ and he just starts walking off like he's going on the most casual stroll through the most mundane set of woods to have ever existed anywhere ever. ]

Re: Day 33 - Overflow - Dottore
Satisfied, then, that I am offering this olive branch to you.
Re: Day 33 - Overflow - Dottore

Re: Day 33 - Overflow - Dottore
But I'm glad we can come to an understanding of cooperation.
Re: Day 33 - Overflow - Dottore
As I am.
I imagine I will see you at home.
Re: Day 33 - Overflow - Dottore
Though perhaps if it was more lively I might find myself there more.
