[His tone turns a little flippant. The subject a sore one rather than Levity's question.]
Zodiark is a concept, but he does have a heart. One of our own on the Convocation was best suited for the task though none of us truly wanted to see it through. But again, such options we were not given the luxury of having.
He will be needed because there is no other way to ensure the star not fall into ruin. His Presence, His Summoning did solve the problem. And I would not waste another solution on conjecture. He is needed.
But as I said, the source of aether I would like to find another solution for. So that it not need a heart.
Now you are getting into the fine details. None of which can be explored here. Merely conjecture. But if He is unable to communicate His needs to us that would make it rather moot, would it not? Similarly if we were not able to communicate to Him.
... I am simply worried about yet more reason for our people to stand divided again. Which might happen if we have little opportunity to communicate with him, to assure people that there is no need to fear of Zodiark being out of our control.
[He opens his mouth to reply, but it occurs to him that maybe there is little point to try and convince Emet otherwise right now, as the anger still burns in him. He exhales softly, raising a hand to cup Emet's cheek.]
I'm sorry. But I am certain we will find a way to be at peace once more.
[Who's a grumpy little Architect, you are, yes you are!]
Oh, without a doubt. But you know that however many pies I may have my proverbial and literal fingers in, it's never quite enough to occupy all of my attention.
[That's clearly an invitation to slump against Emet, right.]
You should entertain me, then.
[His voice is just that kind of ambiguous where it's hard to tell if he's genuinely playing along with Emet's lighter dialogue or if he's just trying to mask his own worries.]
[He'll get comfortable trying not to jostle Levity too much in the process. The book, mostly likely a flavor of Shakespeare, is on his phone so there will be a lot of scrolling. But! He will start on act one and indeed do voices for each of the characters as he reads.
He does look over at Levity from time to time to see how he is doing.]

Re: 383, after kissy game (cw: suicide)
Just. Give him a moment.]
... Is that why you say he is going to be needed? So we can bring that person back?

Without a heart, would we still be able to communicate with it? With him?

Hades, you shouldn't say such things.

Re: 383, after kissy game
One problem at a time. We do ourselves no favors by taking on too much at once.
Does it help at least? Give you focus in the short term.
Re: 383, after kissy game
It does. Thank you, Hades.
Re: 383, after kissy game
Good. Give yourself time. You are such a busybody you'll find someone other plight in which to stick your fingers in.

Re: 383, after kissy game
And thus I would recommend getting some hobbies.
But all jesting aside, I am glad it is better. One day at a time. That is all we can do.
Re: 383, after kissy game
I suppose there really is not more we can do than take it one day at a time. Though I admit that in this place days stretch like years sometimes.
Re: 383, after kissy game
But I have no doubts excitement of the kind you do not favor will come by eventually. Until then, relax. Try to make sense of your circling mind.
And if you still find yourself with too much energy, go run with Cardinal. I imagine they also need to burn it out.
Re: 383, after kissy game
Mm.
Re: 383, after kissy game
No getting lost in your thoughts now.

[He puts an arm around him.]
I could read to you, if you like.
Re: 383, after kissy game
Only if you do the voices.
