[He smiles at the kiss and kicks a chair out for Five to sit before beginning to work. However, if he continues to wear that he’s going to be staring at him more than actually working out arcane equations.]
[ He is totally still wearing that, and he very obviously notices the way Emet is looking at him but for now, he doesn't point it out. It's only after he's done fully writing that he just up and moves on his lap ]
If this keeps your eyes on me to this extent, I really should wear it properly when I look older.
[ he'll let him take them, and Emet will be able to see he's worked on a few arcane equations, translating a few of the formulas he showed him before ]
[He writes in the margin and explains in detail as he does why he’s making adjustments. Giving him the same care and consideration when Five was explaining things to him days before.
But as predicted, he will tire before Five does, yawning and setting pen and paper down.]
I brought a sleeping potion for you along with supplies for breakfast. Shall we retire?
[ just like Emet did back then, he's listening attentively, soaking up the knowledge and making certain to remember each detail. When Emet yawn he will wrap his arms around him ]
[ He doesn't protest it, though, especially since Emet is giving him his shirt. He'll undress and put the shirt on, and then just put the white outfit back in his clothes, careful with it because after all, he cares about it ]
[And he wraps him in his arms after providing the potion, settling in to rest his head on his chest like the spiritual little spoon he is. He speaks drowsily in ancient before he falls asleep.]
[ Oh no. That is adorable and he can't help but smile softly, as endeared as he always is by this man. He'll kiss the top of his head and wait for him to fall asleep before he takes the potion himself, just in case he needs anything.
And when he does fall asleep, there's the usual desolation waiting for them in his own dreams ]
[He isn’t left to his own devices for too long and desolation will be replaced by the pier they both have grown so fond of. Though their are a few changes.
Garlands of hydrangea spiral along the support of the piers. The sides of the path leading up to it are spotted with rows of white heather, asphodels, and sunflowers, but there are still plenty of spots to lie in the grass if they so desired.
Hades is there in shorts and a button up shirt but at least they are tame colors and patterns. And he offers him a single blue-green rose. The color of his eyes.
And there is that terrible sound in the distance. A little stronger than before, but he’s doing his best to ignore it.]
[ It's fine, surely. Just like last time, if they wait enough and are patient through it, the sound will dissipate and Emet will feel better. He's impressed with the entire scenery but it's the rose that get his attention the most, and he takes it to smell it for a moment before he leans in to kiss him on the lips ]
[ he'll squeeze his hand right away and hums as he thinks over what he could add - the scenery is already beautiful and this time, he's pretty sure Emet outdid him. But in the end he decides to add more life in it. The chirping of birds, butterflies and fireflies flying around, and Emet will even be able to see a few squirrels here and there]
Isn't that normal? Rationally, I know you will accept every part of me. But I still don't want to show the worst of it.
[ That worries him immediately, but he tries to squeeze his hand to distract him and give him something to hold onto ]
I said I don't want you to see the worst of it either, when it comes to myself. That was part of why I was so worried about my urges. Even when I know you'll accept me.
[ this is not going as well as last night went, but it's fine. He knew this could happen. And he squeezes his hand again while his other reaches for his chin ]
[He keeps his eyes averted for longer than he would care to admit, thinking up a thousand reasons why he should kick him out as a precaution.
And each and every one of them die in his throat when he meets his gaze.]
I hate it. Not feeling safe here. Being terrified whenever I close my eyes.
[He wraps his arms around him and hides his face in the crook of his neck, tension in his frame building as the dream tries to wrestle control from both of them.]
[ he tries his best to fight it, to try and use whatever control he has to summon aetheric touches and soothe Emet like that, but it's so much harder than last time ]
I know.
And I hate that you have to deal with this. But I'm here with you, and whatever happens we will awake together.
[The air around them gets heavier and heavier. Colors of the scenery begin to weep on each other.
He steps back to try to calm himself, to see if he can’t wrestle control back. He swears. He cups his face instead leaning his forehead against his cheek.]
Last chance. I wish I could give a reason what caused it, but … I suppose fear is never that kind.
[ seeing it actually happen is terrifying in its own way, but just like when he ventured into amaurot on fire, he has to see it. There’s a pause as he looks at the color of that vibrant life change, but he insists ]
The waking world is better. Maybe not much. But you are not alone there. And you are not here either. I’m staying.
Re: 381 night
[ and he will lean in to kiss his cheek ]
But for the time being we'll have to stick to actual chalk.

I believe everyone wins in the situation.

Re: 381 night
Carry me and we can go.
Re: 381 night
Goodness. You aren’t going to sleep in that.
[He takes off his shirt and hands it to him which really is just a short dress on him.]
Re: 381 night

Re: 381 night
As beautiful as always.
Re: 381 night
I can’t be outdone by one so young though I will admit the garden was a rather brilliant idea.
[He leans his head on his shoulder. Still tense but relaxing.]
Thank you. For being here.
Re: 381 night
[ he'll bring his hand to his hair, stroking it gently as he rests against him ]
Besides, it allows me to see you being this cute.
Re: 381 night
[He kisses his neck before pulling back, taking his hand and walking along the path.]
This was my own design but how would you like to add to it. Ever did our collaboration make things better.

Re: 381 night
I suppose it is—-
[He pauses a little unnaturally, grip on his hand tightening. His focus will waiver and the air around them gets a little thick.
But it vanishes in a moment.]
What did you say?
Re: 381 night

Are you all right?
Re: 381 night
[He pinches the bridge of his nose.]
I’m —- I’m simply more tired than I thought.
[At that that white noise sound of crackling just gets worse and worse.]
It might be best if you left.

Focus on me. I'm staying with you.
