I know they thought they were doing what was best for everyone, for us. But 'twas the first time we did not stand together, and it was the most important time that we should have.

Perhaps you could talk to the young Azem when we return. I'm sure they would understand your pain, and even if it wouldn't entirely banish it, perhaps you would feel better.

I'm not sure what I would have you do, but I wouldn't leave you alone, either. Besides... To them it would be something that would never come to pass. And thus, I think, it would be less of a burden, and take secondary place to taking care of you.
