It's alright, Hades. I don't blame you for it. And I know you love them still.

I know they thought they were doing what was best for everyone, for us. But 'twas the first time we did not stand together, and it was the most important time that we should have.

Perhaps you could talk to the young Azem when we return. I'm sure they would understand your pain, and even if it wouldn't entirely banish it, perhaps you would feel better.

You wouldn't. But I don't think they'd be happy with the thought of you being hurt.

I don't plan to burden anyone on our star with this outside of academic research. I will be fine.

And even if I am not, would you have me burden it on those for whom such events would not come to pass? It is not that I doubt their compassion or willingness to help, but I would spare them.
