Thought it was going to be punishment. But yes, that would be acceptable.

You could weasel your way out of any punishment that wasn't immediate and swift. You know this.

[He finally does move off him and removing the tendril as well, but he cleans them with a wave of his hand and drapes against his side. His soul however, he keeps a loose hold on like a clasped hand waiting to be pulled in.]

[ There's a low hum at the feeling of his aether leaving him and Emet pulling off of him at the same time, but he cuddles up to him, happy to keep his hold on his soul, not wanting to let him go at all ]

[He entangles their limbs resting a head on his shoulder before draping a thick blanket over the both of them.

[ he manages to quip back but the embarrassment on his face is obvious, so he's grateful that Emet can't see. But he does hold him close ]

I'd say its been good for your health overall. Mental if not physical.

[He dims the lights so the illumination is primarily from the moon and stars.]

... It has been. It does feel nice to be wanted and held. To enjoy you so closely. Even beyond the physical pleasure of it it's nice to be connected. Though I do need to be careful about it not becoming a bad coping method. It is tempting to.

[ he'll kiss the top of his head, and then nod ]

[He teleports them wrapping them in more furs and blankest and pillows and if Five didn't like an overly soft bed, well, too bad for tonight.

He takes his hand intertwining their fingers.]

Think of it as more a reminder and a promise. That this love exists even if you cannot see or feel it.

I already have two reminders of that.

[ he squeezes his hand, leaning in to kiss him on the lips this time around ]

They do, for physical reminders. But the love and care you've shown me every day do well enough as well.

Truthfully, I'm still a bit teary eyed over the recordings you gave me. As if I could ever forget.

[ He smiles at that, squeezing his hand and bringing his other to his face, brushing his cheek with his knuckles ]

[He lets out such a content sound as he tries meld into him further.]

[ It's his turn to let out a pleased, content noise at that. He lets his eyes fall shut and simply enjoys the feeling of their souls joined like that, not at all minding that, and willing to hold onto him in such a way ]

[He squeezes their fingers.]

How incredible you are. And I do enjoy with much surprise as you've flourished. Even I could not predict the depths of your beauty and compassion.

To be fair I didn't think I had it in me either, so. I wouldn't blame you for that.

But I get blamed for the rest. How terribly cruel. I suppose I will simply burned the weight.
